After long permit delays, restaurateurs Grégory Duval, Martin Mauté, and Daniel Lacombe have broken ground on Pizzeria Caldo in the new Technopôle Angus development. It has been a long slog for the trio that just put M sur Masson up for sale, thanks to several bureaucratic problems with the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough. "It's not normal that we're in May and haven't heard a word," insisted Motté last month. "I call the borough office four times a day to find out what's going on."
Some progress has been made with the city, evidently, because the principals behind Pizzeria Caldo inaugurated the restaurant's Facebook page this week, put out the call for staff, and released photos of the warehouse-style space pre-build. Have a look below.
