Watch Gigantic German Beer Hall Das Bier Take Shape in Rosemont

New, 1 comment

This place is bananas.

Das Bier, a German beer hall, restaurant, and sports bar from principals Kaled Chaaban, Manny Vides, Jr., and Anthoni Jodoin, opens soon in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie after months of hype. Management recently teased out some photos of the work in progress and, all told, they offer a telltale glimpse of what looks like a pretty spectacular build. The ex-Boîte à Marius sprawls over some 3,500 square feet and has been completely made over with 20 tap lines, recycled beer keg light fixtures, bottle cap mosaic bathroom walls, and much more. Another key feature: in lieu of pint glasses, Das Bier will employ Maß, or Oktoberfest-style 1-litre mugs.
