One of the most anticipated restaurants in Montreal is close at hand. Antonin Mousseau-Rivard, the chef who ran the bygone Le Contemporain in the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, will unveil Le Mousso at 1023 Ontario Est, corner Amherst, at the end of the month. The 40-seater has a bar permit and will serve "minimalist plates, with ambiance and music." ICYMI Mousseau-Rivard is the son of actress Katerine Mousseau (his business partner in Le Mousso) and singer Michel Rivard, and the grandson of painter Jean-Paul Mousseau and actress Dyne Mousso. Expect a bit of artistry then, from the chef whose Instagram account is one of the most popular in Montreal and who now counts Noma's René Redzepi as a follower.
