Montreal's first name in organic, vegan, Middle Eastern inflected food recently unveiled its fourth restaurant in the Latin Quarter. Eater speculated this past April that La Panthère Verte, a.k.a. Green Panther, would take over the defunct Baravin space at 1735 Saint-Denis with a terrasse and beer as part of the mix. Now a Chowhound tipster confirms that this is so: "They have 4 beers (blonde, wheat, amber, and IPA) on tap from Beau's, an organic brewery at a bar counter on the side wall, along with a falafel counter at the back. I was told they will expand the beer offerings. I tried the wheat ale and it's good. They also have a large terrace out front, and pints are only $6 from 5-7pm every day, including weekends."

Status: La Panthère Verte, 1735 Saint-Denis, now open.
