A Montreal media outlet reported today that La Queue de Cheval was the scene of an arson attack at approximately 4 a.m. The blustery owner of the infamous, boob-obsessed steakhouse, however, repudiated the claim that a Molotov cocktail was thrown through a front door window of the restaurant on de la Montagne.
Peter Morentzos took to Facebook to allege that reports of fire and criminal activity were "bullshit" and to douse the rumour, all caps style: "ATTENTION! THERE HAS BEEN REPORTS OF FIRE, CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AND OTHER FALSE PRETENCES ABOUT THE QUEUE DE CHEVAL ON MOUNTAIN STREET. IT IS AN EXAGGERATION BEYOND BELIEF. IT IS A BROKEN WINDOW WITH A COINCIDENTAL SPRINKLER ALARM GOING OFF WITHIN A HALF AN HOUR OF THE SITUATION."
Stay tuned for more developments on this latest saga at La Queue de Cheval.
