ICYMI, the old Van Horne, which closed in April, is in the midst of a complete overhaul by Tina An (a former Foyer partner), and chefs Pablo Rojas (late of Foyer) and Hakim Rahal (late of Laurie Raphaël). The new restaurant is called Provisions. An told Eater last month that the restaurant will accommodate 25 and will focus on market cuisine. "We will list what ingredients we received that day. Pablo and Hakim will personalize each dish to the customer."
Just last week, the new restaurant announced itself to the neighbourhood with a baller new sign (above) and now exists on Facebook. The trio hopes to open next month. Rojas and Rahal have also been booked for the YUL EAT festival in September. Stay tuned for more details on the exciting Outremont newcomer as they develop.
