The Backstage Food Scene at Montreal's Osheaga Festival Is Crazypants

Consider this a preview.


Good food could well be Osheaga's secret weapon. Bands love to play the annual Montreal festival and the promise of killer grub is a factor, no doubt. In 2014 star chef Chuck Hughes gave Eater the exclusive lowdown on what it takes to cater Osheaga—fast-forward 12 months and the Garde Manger, Le Bremner man is poised to do it all over again with his crack Crown Salts crew. We will have some post-Osheaga scoopage next week but until then, here's a preview of the action from the food tents so far.
