Chef and Grumman '78 co-owner Marc-André Leclerc is collaborating with longtime friend and fellow chef François Côté from L'Impérial in Granby for an upcoming Omnivore Maudit Souper at the Grumman HQ. The chefs, who both worked for David McMillan and Frédéric Morin (Leclerc was the chef at McKiernan and Côté, the chef at Joe Beef), were also recently together at Omnivore in Moscow earlier this year.
"It's going to be me and Frank and a simple, good 12 course homage to hedonism, but maybe not vegetarian friendly", says Leclerc of the event that takes place Thursday August 20th.
Describing the style of food as "old kitchen boys food" Leclerc is also excited for the accompanying all natural wine selection served on a cart, dim sum styles, from Primavin, Glou and Rézin.
With only one service and 100 seats available, Leclerc promises this to be a night of debauchery not to be missed. Here's what to look forward to:
