Noble Café, on the corner of Laurier and Rivard, looks like it's getting ready to open its doors. The new Plateau café will be a welcome addition to the 'hood, taking the place of an old ice cream shop. With renovations to the locale currently underway, there is no sign of an opening date just yet. Stay tuned for more details.
UPDATE—Monday, August 10: Co-owner Marc-Antoine Paquin tells Eater that he hopes to open by August 17. Noble will serve Kittel and Phil & Sebastian coffees, in espresso drink, filter, and cold brew forms. Look for viennoiseries from Arhoma, crème molle and hard ice creams from Les Givrés, and, sometime down the line, nitro cold brew and kombucha on tap.
