Downtown Montreal's classy Relais & Chateaux restaurant Europea just got a lot cheesier. “With the addition of a cheese cellar, we want to enhance the customer experience at Europea, while pursuing our mission as ambassadors of Quebec products," announced chef-owner Jérôme Ferrer in a prepared statement.
Yes, as of today, Europea's lunch and dinner customers can access a state-of-the-art cheese room, or cave, as it were, and select from over 100 types, all from the province of Quebec. No other restaurant in Canada offers such a wide variety of cheeses, insists Europea's management.
