Ôzeu

Ôzeu, a breakfast/brunch concept with a restaurant in Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, recently took over the space formerly held by Au P’tit Cochon Santé in Saint-Henri. Management of the bygone Cochon Santé, which operates another restaurant in Rosemère, bid customers farewell with this: "En raison de la conjoncture économique, nous avons pris la décision de cesser nos activités." As for Ôzeu, the formula is pretty standard breakfast and brunch fare: a lot of omelettes and bénédictines, in other words (see menu below). In a twist, however, the new Ôzeu also doubles as a pusher of burgers and beers after 3 p.m. Dubbed O'Boeuf Burger & Cie, the post-breakfast version of the restaurant is a bid by management to branch out beyond bacon and eggs.

Status: Ôzeu Saint-Henri, 4293 rue Notre-Dame Ouest, (514) 507-8090, now open for breakfast from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and for lunch/dinner from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
