A new Moroccan restaurant just landed in Little Italy in the former Geisha Sushi Traiteur. K'Moon (Arabic for cumin) is auspiciously located close to La Bièrothèque and the new Trou de Beigne doughnut shop. The newcomer's menu is a veritable checklist of Moroccan classics: think pastilla, tajines, couscous platters, kefta, and a few dessert items. There are also some notable departures, such as Caesar and Greek salads, and a stab at poutine, adorned with tajine lamb, chicken, or merguez. K'Moon is open for lunch (weekdays) and dinner, and, bonus, delivers. h/t Chowhound.

Status: K'Moon, 150 Saint-Zotique Est, (514) 400-8552. Now open Monday to Friday for lunch (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), and Monday to Sunday for dinner (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.).
