— Prime Minister Justin Trudeau posted a glorious Instagram Sunday evening of him dining in Montreal with Top Chef Season 10 winner Kristen Kish, while hometown chef Chuck Hughes is at work in the background. Kish reposted the 'gram with the caption, "I was privileged with the opportunity to sit down and share a meal with the ever so brilliant and wonderful Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau to chat culture, travel, and food. Stay tuned for our full conversation."
Kish, who co-hosts the Travel Channel's 36 Hours , has spent time in Montreal of late while working on her forthcoming cookbook with Montrealer Meredith Erickson (co-author of Joe Beef and Le Pigeon cookbooks). While in town, Kish has dined at Montreal classics like Nouveau Système, Lester's Deli, Hof Kelsten, Olive et Gourmando, and Le Vin Papillon, capturing it all on her Instagram, of course.
