According to Twitter, Canadian-American Baywatch star and activist Pamela Anderson was in Montreal yesterday having a meal. Specifically, she visited the Mile End location of L'Gros Luxe and dined on vegan poutine. It's not a surprising choice: the restaurant's appreciation for vegetarian and vegan lifestyles lines up perfectly with Anderson's fight for animal rights. So what's in a vegan poutine, you ask? Dairy-free cheese is obviously involved, along with a light scattering of green onions and gravy. Here's a nice picture of the L'Gros Luxe version.
Anderson fans take note: it's likely that she'll be in the Montreal area for at least a week or so, working on a new reality TV show. If you see Anderson out and about eating anything else delicious or otherwise, do let Eater know.
