New Jersey mega rock group Bon Jovi played a Montreal show on Thursday, and found a moment to check out one of the city’s go-to dining institutions for red meat.
The band dropped by famed Moishes Steakhouse on St-Laurent, apparently on Thursday afternoon, where the rockers behind hits like “It’s My Life” dined in a blaze of glory.
“Livin’ On A Prayer”? More like “Livin’ On A Rare [steak]”! OK, enough with the puns based around Jon Bon Jovi’s lyrics — Eater actually doesn’t know what the band ate, what level of bloodiness they prefer for their steaks, or whether they took a box of Moishes’ classic Monte Carlo potatoes home to heat up in the oven.
In any case Lenny Lighter and the Moishes team seemed quite stoked on the celebrity visit, calling them “such a nice and down to earth group”, and “legends” and snapping a photo of the band with the large Leonard Cohen mural behind the steakhouse’s Plateau premises.
Bon Jovi joined us for dinner at Moishes last night!! Such a nice and down to earth group. Here they are checking out...
