14 Great Montreal Bakeries Open Right Now

Some places have shut down their ovens for now, but there are still good places to pick up your daily bread

View as Map

While many Montreal restaurants have closed their doors temporarily due to the coronavirus outbreak, a good number of the city’s bakeries are still pulling fresh baguettes, croissants, and more from the ovens on a daily basis.

Here are more than a dozen options for beautiful bread and a few sweet treats. Take note that some of the bakeries listed here have shuffled their hours, or are not open every day (we’ve tried to include these details where possible). Some — but not all — have also introduced delivery services, although these may require advance orders. As per Quebec’s distancing rules, all bakeries are take-out only — even if meals are offered, you can’t dine in.

Lastly, note that this is not an exhaustive list of open bakeries — it’s just a selection.
