While this year’s Super Bowl Sunday may feel different than most, restaurants around town remain committed to serving up game-day snacks that promise to be as decadent and satisfying as when they were being consumed while perched up in a local dive. Some are offering day-of specials, while others are just generally good bets for handheld, TV-watching fare. Looking for a specific item that’s not on the list? Check out Eater’s map of Montreal sports bars — several are still slinging chicken wings, nachos, and other game-day indulgences for takeout and delivery.

McKiernan
Southwest darling McKiernan is currently taking pre-orders for their “Super Bowl Sunday Snack Pack,” which will include a variety of classic and elevated snacks for all types of game-day eaters. The special is big enough to feed 2-4 people and includes a Nuts & Bolts party mix, pull apart pizza buns, a vegetarian-friendly 7-layer dip, rotisserie honey hot wings, all beef kielbasa, and two-bite brownies.
Blackstrap BBQ
Blackstrap BBQ began firing up its smokers on Wellington back in 2012, and is still among the few spots in Montreal offering the dry-rubbed, slow-cooked meaty goodness that is American barbecue. Open on Sundays, diners can’t go wrong with one of its combo plates with a choice of protein (ribs, brisket, pulled pork, or barbecue mushroom), pickles, onions, and sides. The deep fried mac and cheese and brisket burnt ends poutine are fan favourites.

Les Street Monkeys
This Cambodian street food purveyor has taken on pandemic-era restrictions in stride: first with the adoption of a robust takeout and grocery menu, then with participation in meal delivery service Les Weekendeurs, and now with — you guessed it — special Super Bowl combos. There’s a skewer option with kroeung chicken, lemongrass beef, and fried rice; or a wing combo featuring spicy fried and classic stuffed wings, as well as nataing, a Cambodian curry dip with peanuts served with shrimp chips. Both combos come with pickled veggies and imperial rolls. Pre-order online.
Ichifuku
This Shaughnessy Village ramen joint now offers one-kilogram buckets of crispy karaage to go — complete with teriyaki, garlic, and spicy dipping sauces. The bundle comes with fries, coleslaw, and canned drinks, all for a pretty attractive $34. Feeds four.

Le Petit Flore
This Ahuntsic mainstay has been offering up game-day essentials since its inception over 20 years ago, and for Super Bowl LV, it’s no different. Icehouse
A post on the Tex Mex mecca’s Instagram account assures that it will be open on February 7, “because Icehouse = Super Bowl.” With a menu including Dr. Pepper pork ribs, fried chicken burritos, and popcorn shrimp, well, there really isn’t a debate there.
Les Canailles
Hochelaga French bistro Les Canailles will be offering a decadent spread for two that consists of elevated essentials to make sure your game day is an appetizing one. The $80 tasting menu will consist of sweet and salty popcorn, bourbon maple chicken wings, barbecue ribs, garlic and blue cheese focaccia, and more traditional fixings that will fuel your at-home viewing “party.” Order with Pizzli.
